TAPING, A SUCCESS!!!
No Better Cause would like to send a special "THANK YOU" to everyone who attended our live taping last weekend at St. Mark's United Methodist Church in Lincoln. We had somewhere between 350-400 people there to see the show, which is awesome! We couldn't have asked for a better audience, either. The crowd was definitely enthusiastic and loud!
A couple of us have started mixing the audio from the concert, and the audience showed up extremely well on the recording. And, tomorrow, we will begin editing the video to get our promotional video created. After that, it is likely that we'll start mixing the entire audio and video so that we can release a new live album and live DVD.
This is really exciting for us, and we wanted to thank you all for being so incredibly supportive. We'll have more updates as soon as we start getting things edited for release.
Yours,
Nate, Lucas, Michael, Ryan, Eric No Better Cause www.nobettercause.com

Upcoming Show/Summer Update
Greetings!
We hope that all of you are having a great start to your summer! Things are going well for us thus far this summer. We've spent the past three weekends in different cities in central Nebraska (North Platte, Hastings, and Grand Island), we visited two of those cities for the first time in the group's history. And, we've got a number of places on our schedule for this summer that we have never visited. Things are definitely off to a great start!
We wanted to let you know of another big opportunity coming up in the next few weeks. On Saturday, July 9th, No Better Cause will have the pleasure in hosting one of the biggest influences in contemporary a cappella music for a concert in Lincoln. Sean Altman, the founder of world-famous vocal group, Rockapella, will be performing live with No Better Cause.
Sean Altman is responsible for writing the infamous theme song for PBS hit TV show "Where in The World is Carmen Sandiego?" He has also written songs for many major recording artists. Altman now tours regularly both in the US and abroad with just he and his guitar. But, although Sean isn't performing regularly anymore with a cappella groups, he still has a huge presence in the world of a cappella music by writing and producing albums for many groups out there today.
This is an incredible opportunity for No Better Cause to perform with one of the true pioneers of contemporary a cappella music. Prepare to be amazed by this unique writing style of Sean Altman on July 9th. We hope to see many of you there. Here are the details for the show:
Who: Sean Altman & No Better Cause Where: Saint Paul United Methodist Church (The Underground) When: Saturday, July 9, at 8:00 p.m. Cost: $5.00 per person at the door
Please feel free to write back to this e-mail address with any questions you may have. This is going to be a great show! See you all soon!
Yours,
Nate, Luke, Michael, Ryan, Eric

Nebraskapella 2005/WOWT Channel 6
Hello!
First, a special thanks goes out to everyone who made it to Nebraskapella to see Eric Kiple give his first public performance with No Better Cause, as well as see No Better Cause perform a concert with one of the best vocal groups in the world, m-pact! The whole evening was very successful, thanks to you. We hope to make next year's Nebraskapella (the third one) even bigger and more exciting! Any suggestions and help would be appreciated.
We're also a little late in telling you this, but, this past Thursday, No Better Cause performed in Omaha at the Gene Leahy Mall as a part of WOWT Channel 6's Summer Concert Series. We had a good turnout, and were even lucky enough to sing live on TV for a little bit during the noon hour. Commercials were playing all week prior to our performance, and the reviews by the Channel 6 News team that evening were great! We felt that we got a great deal of exposure in the Omaha area, and look forward to whatever else comes from that performance. And, at the end of the summer, we'll be calling on No Better Cause fans to vote for us to return to Omaha at the end of the summer for the encore performance. The winning band will get to return to close out the summer concert series. More on that later.
Thank you, once again, to everyone for your support. We've got a lot of big things going on this summer, and we'll look forward to seeing all of you at our shows very soon!
Yours, Nate, Luke, Michael, Ryan, and Eric
